Positive rapport with clients

“Building rapport with clients is crucial for trust and smooth processes. Ways to do this include showing empathy, finding common ground, asking questions, active listening, and being yourself by being authentic, respectful, and honest while showing your personality.” “The color blue has emerged as a favored selection among consultants aiming to foster a sense of trust and assurance in their clientele. This hue is often associated with qualities such as reliability, professionalism, and calmness, making it an effective tool for consultants who wish to create a reassuring atmosphere. By incorporating blue into their branding and presentations, consultants can effectively communicate their commitment to providing sound advice and support, thereby enhancing their clients' confidence in their expertise.” In my practice as a consultant, I often find myself integrating the color blue into various forms of abstract art. This choice is not merely aesthetic; it serves a deeper purpose in c...

Brown Empowerment

“Labor Day holds a significant place in the history and culture of African Americans, serving as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for labor rights and social justice. Originally established to honor the contributions of workers across the nation, this holiday also reflects the unique challenges faced by African Americans in the workforce. Historically, African Americans have encountered systemic barriers, including discrimination and unequal pay, which have shaped their experiences in the labor market. As a result, Labor Day not only celebrates the achievements of workers but also highlights the need for continued advocacy for equity and inclusion in employment. The observance of this day encourages reflection on the progress made and the work that remains to ensure that all individuals, regardless of race, can enjoy fair labor practices and opportunities for advancement.” As an African - American since I was a high school student in 1991, I have experienced racism and d...

This color selection was intentional, as yellow often symbolizes positivity and energy, which I aimed to convey through my artwork. The process of creating this piece allowed me to explore the interplay of light and form.
